Ok for cold weather
This is my second pair of these insoles. I got my first pair several years ago, they were wonderful. Very warm, thick and cushiony. The new ones are not as thick or as warm. Alittle disappointing, but still nice to have for Michigan's winters.

A Game Changer!
I have three different variations of Bean Boots. I found early on that my feet would sweat excessively in temperate weather. The addition of these shearling inner soles solved the problem. An added bonus is that the additional cushioning raises the comfort level exponentially. My new Bean moc's arived today. My shearling inner soles are on the way! As Bean Boots are not offered in half sizes, I encourage you to add these shearling inner soles if you find the fit too "roomy". The shearling inner soles can be removed and washed to keep your Bean Boots smelling fresh.

Shearling insoles keep boots warm and cushioned.
I wanted a plus inner sole. I only found them at LLBean. I wanted a dark color but the white ones were plusher than the brown. They fit into the boot nicely according to size. The bottom sole is just a plyable flat synthetic that grips (so there is no slidding in the boot and stays flat.) and breathes a little. There is no arch support in these inner soles, and their thickness minimizes the feel of the arch. I ordered a 1/2 size larger boot expecting to use my shearling insoles and it is a snugg fit at the toe. But women's boots are made to be snugg. These Insoles are expensive, but they are the same price as I payed a few years back for my brown ones at LLBean.

Perfect insoles for flannel lined moccasins
I’m a female buyer of the men’s flannel lined moccasins. My second pair. The first pair is over a decade old and still in great shape but I wanted a second pair in case they get discontinued. I wear a woman’s 9 1/2 to 10 / European size 40 or 41. I buy a men’s size 8 moccasin. These shearling liners are perfect in the moccasins. They are snuggly soft and can be hand washed. They raise my foot up a tiny bit so that the outside edge of the moccasin doesn’t touch my ankle bone. I bought the shearling insoles in brown. The men’s moccasins are far better quality than any of the women’s moccasins that LL Bean carries. If you can wear a men’s 8 or larger, I strongly recommend the men’s flannel lined moccasins and would go the extra mile with fleece insoles.
And dear LLBean company, why don’t you make a moccasin of this quality in women’s sizes?
