Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

The fit of this jacket is just perfect. I was vacillating between this and a larger size to be able to layer under it and went with one size larger than normal. It’s perfect. Plenty of room for layering but doesn’t look too large. Feels very heavy with the lining and great quality. Very pleased with this purchase.

Barn jacket for the win
Been eyeing this for years. Beautifully lined with soft flannel, sleeves lined in a polyester blend (I think). I sized up to fit a hefty button up or sweater underneath. Looking forward to getting it a vintage look. Durable, nice long fit (great for tall people). Strong buttons (not flimsy). Nice fitted cut (not boxy).
