Poor design.
The quality of material and craftsmanship is outstanding but the overal design for men is terrible. The pantlegs of the shorts are huge making ity look like you are wearing culottes. I refuse to go ouit in public with these.

Great shorts
These are excellent, durable lightweight shorts that will keep you cool. Because when you’re in the tropics, you want to keep the jungle OUT THERE, not “down there.”

WARNING Very Short
6-inch inseam is too short. Cargo pockets are very small only 5-inches deep held down with on small velcro patch.
Most customers are looking for 8-inch inseam cargo shorts with a deeper cargo pocket

Very nice and comfortable.
Excellent, comfortable shorts. Really like the fact that it has the side cargo pockets. Bold attempt at putting cargo pockets on such short shorts. Bravo!

This Summer's Cargo Shorts
You can't find cargo shorts like these every year. I chose the 6" version . The fabric is substantial, but light, classic cotton. There are two kinds of fasteners: velcro on the cargo pockets and buttons on the waist and rear pockets. The cargo pockets were too small to close on my cell phone. but the side pockets easily held my phone.Even on the short version the pockets hold a reasonable amount with ho chance of losing things due to sitting, standing, driving, or laying back in a recliner. Even with the comfort waist, they are a trim fit.
